Barroth by jawazcript Barroth by jawazcript
Thought to continue the series and made one of my favourite monsters. I have a weird liking towards the big, bulky monsters like this, Uragaan and Doboruberuku.

~A5-size paper, Pilot drawing pen & black watercolour~

Mieletön työ! Aivan upea teos kaikkine yksityiskohtineen. Ihan kateeksi pistää :D

i love how crisp the lines are on the barroth in contrast with the watercolor like look of the background

At first I had a slight thought of doing detailed background with a pen but that wouldn't have been good.

I'm happy to hear it arises such emotions :D So far I've only fought Barroth on Arena Play, with quite bad results.

I've just gotten to the point where I can kill them without much fear/hesitation :D

What about Quarapeco?

So far I've done Qurupeco-quest only once and I managed to kill it, though it took long ^^' On Arena it's easy.

(But on capture-quest it summoned a Rathian and I was screwed.)

This is outstanding! I love the attention to detail and the different thickness of line used - It really creates an awesome effect! Also the proportion is true and attention to the creature itself is amazing :') honestly well done!

Thanks, the different thickness in lines does make things more vivid and give deepness in them. Also it'd look a lot messier if there weren't thicker lines :3

Very nice. I'm more partial to the elder dragons myself. This is a very good illustration of a barroth, though. And in pen no less.

That's some incredible cross hatching skill. So much detail too.

Amazing work.
